Previously, project data was scattered across multiple storage locations, but thanks to ACC, all data is now in one place. This reduces the risk of data loss and unauthorised access, while allowing us to access the data securely from multiple devices. Data security and encryption: All data stored in Autodesk Construction Cloud is protected with encryption (TLS v.1.2) both in transit and at rest. This means that sensitive information, such as drawings and project plans, is protected from unauthorised access.
Data centre: All operations are managed via Amazon's cloud service (AWS). There are three regions US, EU and Australia. Today, it is possible to move your data to the region where you are located, and we at Symetri can help find solutions for this.
Access control and user roles: The platform allows administrators to configure detailed access levels for different users. This means that only authorised people can view, edit or share specific files and projects. Role-based access ensures that users only have access to the information they need for their work tasks.
