Sending a Revit Project to Revit Live!

Sending a Revit Project to Revit Live!

Revit Live cloud service turns Revit and Revit LT models into an immersive experience in one click, helping architects understand, explore, and share their designs.

Editing tools help you get your experience just right, and express your style – Define navigation points, adjust location-based lighting, or apply a unique render style.

Rather than just seeing the model, Revit Live enables users to experience it!

Following up on our previous blog, Revit Live: Create Immersive Architectural Visualizations, we wanted to outline the steps to sending a Revit project to Revit Live.

CustomizeShare, and Explore your designs in real-time, understand and experience a space before anything has been built. Let everyone involved in the project experience your vision from anywhere in the world!

1. Start Revit 2018 and Open “Sample Architecture Project”.

2. Make {3D} view active.

3. Save the current file under another name as samples in a read only folder.
From View ribbon click “Go Live”.

4. Click on “Fix” to automatically fix all the issues with the project.

Click on “Save and Go”.

5. An email will also be sent to you from “Autodesk Revit Live Services” with the download link.
You can now open the file in Revit Live editor.

Customize, Share, and Explore your designs in real-time, understand and experience a space before anything has been built. Let everyone involved in the project experience your vision from anywhere in the world!
