If you are going to predict the future, what is the outlook for ACC?
- Personally, I am very excited about how ACC will continue to develop. I've already had twelve years with ACC and our customers and have seen tremendous progress, but there is much more to do. Imagine a future where construction sites no longer rely on time-consuming manual processes, but instead use AI to optimise workflow in real time. Where safety hazards can be predicted and addressed before they affect the progress of the project.
Many were early adopters of BIM 360 and are now curious to work with the ACC platform. How is Symetri working to facilitate the transition from that particular software to ACC in a smooth way, so that more people can enjoy the benefits of ACC?
- Symetri is now developing a new platform, Naviate Nebula. This tool will help our customers to move their projects (made in BIM 360) from US data centres to European data centres. At the time of BIM 360, there was only the US data centre to choose from, but today there is also a data centre in Europe and Australia. Thanks to Naviate Nebula, our customers will be able to increase efficiency and work even smarter in projects run via ACC.
On the perennial topic of conversation in many industries - AI - what can we expect this technology to do for efficiency and risk management in the construction industry?
- AI-powered analytical tools can already help identify inefficiencies and risks far earlier than was previously possible, and I believe this is just the beginning. For me, it's an incredibly exciting time to be part of the construction industry. The rapid development of AI and digital solutions like ACC is making it possible to work in a way that was previously only science fiction. Construction projects will become more sustainable, faster and cheaper, while increasing quality and safety - an equation that today is very difficult to achieve. ACC is poised to be a key player in this transformation - and I look forward to being part of the journey towards a digitalised future for construction.
