“Unknown Command” while using express tools in AutoCAD 2015

Using an Express Tools command in AutoCAD shows “unknown command”

Enter OPTIONS at the command line to bring up the Options dialog box.

Navigate to the Files tab.

Expand “Support Files Search Path”.

Verify that the Express Tools path is present.

If the path is not present, use the “Add…” button on the right to add the path manually.

  • Path: C:program filesautodeskautocad 20xxexpress
  • Be sure the edit this path for the correct version of AutoCAD.
