Mechanical Engineering CAD Worldskills Competition

WorldSkills is a partnership between enterprise, industry, education, training and government that raises the profile and recognition of skills and apprenticeships. It prepares the talent of today for the careers of the future and acts a showcase for the skills of the young people from across Ireland who are competing.

We are inviting all Educational Leaders who are currently teaching Mechanical Engineering CAD to join us online 8th March at 11am for an introduction to this years competition.

We are asking for your help to nominate your students who are up for the challenge of participating in WorldSkills Ireland National Competition. Your students will get the opportunity to compete against their peers at a national level with the opportunity to win the prestigious Department of Further and Higher Education Silver Medal Award.

On the day we will have an introduction to WorldSkills and the Mechanical Engineering CAD Competition, outline the agenda for this year's mentorship programme and you will hear first hand from last year's winner Evin Coughlin.
