Design proposals
The Comment section of each data table provides you with information and suggestions on the design of the building and how to improve its daylighting performance. This function provides you with information on: - Room dimensions - Window dimensions - Overhang areas - Surrounding buildings and shading obstacles The information is based on the selected local specific standard guidelines.
Customize (Autofill) mandatory values
The “Autofill Required Values” tool allows you to list commonly used room names in your projects and enter their required daylight values and calculation height. This way you can be sure that the correct values are used during the calculations.
Pre-selection
When you need quick feedback on a specific area of the project, you can select the desired rooms, spaces or areas and run Daylight. Daylight ratio and daylight factor are calculated only for the selected units. In large projects, pre-selecting a group of rooms can save a lot of time and effort when running the analysis.
